What this site collects
If you use the contact form: your name, email address, and message are stored in a database on this site's hosting account (Hostinger), along with the date and your IP address (used only to spot spam). This information is used solely to reply to you and is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, subscription date, and IP address (used only to spot spam) are stored the same way, solely to send you new-post emails. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all future emails immediately.
If you just browse the site: beyond the cookies described below, no personal information is collected.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks for your cookie preferences:
- Necessary: a single cookie/local-storage entry that remembers your cookie choice itself. Always on, because the site can't ask you the question without it.
- Analytics: optional, off by default. If enabled, it may be used in future to understand which posts are useful (e.g. Google Analytics). No analytics script runs unless you say yes.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
Third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of serving the font files. It is hosted on Hostinger. If Google Analytics is ever enabled (only after you consent; see above), Google processes that data under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask, at any time, to see, correct, or delete any message you've sent through the contact form, or any newsletter subscription: email contact@abhishekinsights.com and I'll action it directly in the database.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
This page is written to be genuinely useful, not just to tick a box, but it isn't legal advice. If you need this site to formally comply with GDPR, CCPA or another specific regulation, it's worth having a lawyer review this page for your situation.
